PUPPY SHIPPING & PICKUP PROCESS

At CHRISTIAN DOBERMANS , the health and safety of your new Doberman puppy is our top priority. Whether you’re picking up your puppy in person or arranging for shipping, we’ve developed a process that guarantees a smooth and secure transition to their new home. 

1. How to Get Your Puppy 

We offer two options for receiving your new Doberman puppy:

• In-Person Pickup at our kennel, located in CHARLOTTE NC.
• Nationwide & International Shipping via trusted pet-safe airlines.

  In-Person Pickup

For families who prefer a more personal experience, we welcome you to pick up your puppy directly from our kennel.

Step-by-Step Pickup Process

1. Schedule Your Visit
   Once your puppy is ready to go home, we will arrange a pickup date that works for both of us. We will provide you with directions to our kennel and any additional details.
2. Kennel Tour (Optional)
   Upon arrival, we offer a brief tour of our facility so you can meet the parents of your puppy and see where they were raised.
3. Final Health Check & Paperwork
   We’ll conduct a final health review of your puppy and provide you with all the necessary documents, including:
   • Health certificate
   • Vaccination records
   • AKC registration papers 
4. Take Your Puppy Home
   You’ll receive a Welcome Home Kit, including a small bag of puppy food, training tips, and a guide to help with the transition to their new home.

Shipping Your Puppy

For customers unable to pick up their puppy in person, we offer safe and reliable shipping services within the continental U.S. and internationally.

Our Safe Puppy Shipping Process

1. Flight & Crate Preparation
   Your puppy will be carefully prepared for their journey. We use airline-approved travel crates that are designed for comfort and security, ensuring your puppy has space to move and proper ventilation.

2. Homecoming Kit
   Just like with in-person pickups, your shipped puppy will come with a Welcome Home Kit containing:

   • Health records
   • Puppy food
   • Vaccination schedule
3. Health & Comfort Checks
   Prior to departure, your puppy will receive a thorough vet check and a final feeding. We ensure that they are well-rested and hydrated for the trip.
4. Real-Time Shipping Updates
   We will provide you with shipping details and tracking information so you can monitor your puppy’s journey. We only work with airlines that offer pet-safe programs.
5. Arrival & Pickup at the Airport
   You’ll be notified once your puppy has arrived at the airport’s cargo area. You’ll need to bring:
   • Government-issued ID
   • Flight confirmation and tracking info
   • Any required paperwork

• Shipping Fees: Shipping costs will vary based on the destination and airline availability. Shipping costs typically include the airline-approved crate, health certificate, and transportation fees.
• International Shipping: For international customers, please contact us directly for information on regulations and pricing for shipping to your country.
• Weather Restrictions: For the safety of your puppy, we adhere to weather restrictions imposed by airlines. If extreme temperatures or weather conditions are forecasted, we may delay the shipping for your puppy’s protection.
